Taxpayers to expect their 2021 tax bills after December 1, 2021

The Santa Fe County Treasurer's Office is notifying property owners that the 2021 property tax statements will be delayed due to House Bill 407 which was passed in 2019. This legislation allows school districts a mill levy question on the November election ballot. ALL property tax bills will be mailed on December 1st of this year.

It is important for ALL SF County Property Tax payers to be expecting the 2021 tax bills after December 1, and will be due from December 10 -January 10.

This will only affect the first half tax bills and will continue as normal for the second half.
