On November 18, 2017, deputies conducted a traffic stop on the above suspect's vehicle.  The suspect then fled on foot from deputies but was apprehended shortly after.

On November 18, 2017, deputies responded to the above location in reference to a larceny.  The above items were stolen from behind her porch.

0217017282 / Fraudulent use of a credit card / 11-17-2017

Victim reported to Deputy that he had been contacted by his financial institution and told that his credit card had been charged in the amount greater than $1,000.00. Victim stated he had not purchased anything over that amount or he had not given anyone permission to use his credit card. Case is under investigation.

Above person was seen walking in parking lot to establishment and was recognized by Deputy as having an outstanding warrant for his arrest. Subject was arrested and taken to jail without incident.

First Judicial District Court Warrant- Failure to Comply with Electronic Monitoring (Original Charge: Burglary, Breaking and Entering, Larceny, and Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle.

On 11-16-17 the above individual was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above listed active bench warrants issued out of the First Judicial District Court. The individual was booked accordingly without incident.

0217016870 – Revoked Driver’s License - 11-10-17

 Suspect: Garrett Dawson – 45 - Santa Fe, NM

Charges: Revoked Driver’s License – Registration Required

The suspect was observed operating his vehicle northbound on NM-14 in the Madrid area. A check of the registration plate on the vehicle showed that it was both expired and suspended.

When a traffic stop was conducted it was learned that the suspect was operating the vehicle on a revoked driver’s license, with the arrest clause attached.

The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charge(s).

The suspect’s vehicle was seized as per Santa Fe County Ordinance.

0217017207 – Aggravated Battery against a Household Member – 11-15-17

Deputy Assigned: J. Modgling

 Suspect: Tonya Chavez - 49 - Stanley, NM

Charges: Aggravated Battery against a Household Member

On the above date Deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to a "911" hang up. Santa Fe RECC advised there was an open line and they could hear screaming in the background. Upon arrival Deputies spoke with the Victim who stated the Suspect had punched him in the face, pushed him up against the wall and continued to punch him in the head. The Victim had blood stains on his shirt and there were spots of blood on the floor and wall consistent with his story. The Suspect told Deputies the argument was only verbal and the Victim never hit her.  Deputies saw blood on the Suspect's right thumb and blood on her pants. The Suspect refused to answer any more questions since she did not have a lawyer with her.

The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charge(s).

Victim reported to Deputy that unknown persons stole a credit card belonging to him from the mailbox to his home. The suspect was not able to use the card as the credit card company flagged the account. Case is under investigation.

Victim reported to Deputy that today between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. unknown persons forced entry into the home and stole the listed items. Case is under investigation.
