0207009098Revoked License/MV crash/hit and run

Deputy assigned: David Jaramillo

Location of incident: Airport/Jemez Rd

Arrest/Suspect: Lorenzo Julian AGE 24

On 11/25/07 suspect was involved in a motor vehicle crash, in which he left the scene. The other driver was able to get his license plate number, and suspect was located, and arrested. Suspect was charged with: Driving while license is suspended/revoked, careless driving, leaving the scene of an accident.

0207009284Auto Burglary/Larceny

Arrest/suspect: none

Victim reported that sometime between 6:00pm 11/23/07 and 1:50pm 11/24/07, unknown person(s) BURGLARIZED his 1994 Mazda pickup and stole misc power tools, drill, tool bag with hand tools valued at $800.00.

Case#: 0207009291/ Burglary, Larceny/ Date: 11/24/07

Location:  3900 block of Calle Cisco, Santa Fe, NM

On 11/24/07 between 0100 and 0600 hours someone broke into a truck toolbox belonging to victim and stole most of his tools from inside.  Taken from the toolbox was a tile cutter, toolbox with misc. tools, cordless drill, grinder, and skill saw.  Estimated amount of items taken is $1,280.00.

Case#: 0207009290/ Aggravated DWI, Reckless Driving, Driver must be licensed/ Date: 11/24/07

Deputy assigned:  Deputy David Clendenin

Location of arrest:  4312 Cerrillos Road, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect:  Francisco Rosales-Grado, age 36, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Aggravated DWI, Reckless Driving, No Driver's License

Suspect was observed travelling northbound on Cerrillos Road weaving and nearly struck a curb and a fire hydrant.  Suspect showed signs of impairment during all phases of testing.  Suspect was arrested and refused to provide a breath sample.  Suspect doesn't have a New Mexico driver's license.

Location of incident: Guadalupe Credit Union-3601 Mimbres Ln

Suspect: Cruz Alcala age 41/ Charges: pending

Bank auidtor reported that a credit union member deposited a "Circut City" check for $4,500.00. and later withdrew the $4500 in cash. The check came back as a counterfiet. Investigation continues.

Date of Incident: 11/22/07 Location:  Stae Rd 14

Arrested: Estevan Portillo DOB: 9/17/82

Deputy stopped the above subject after a traffic stop for a traffic offence.  driver exibited signs of impairmanet.  driver was arrested for DWI.  A breath test revealed the driver had a .13% BAC

Incident date: 11/21/07  Location: Rattlesnake Road (West Frontage)

Suspect information pending further investigation

Deputies were disptached to the above residence reference to a report of a fight involving a knife.  Deputies arrivied to find all parties heavily intoxictaed and unable to provided proper information.  Several subjects were taken to St. Vincent's Hospitol because of thier level of intoxciation. Further invesigation is pending....

Victim reported that sometime between Nov. 14, 2007 and Nov. 23, 2007 unknown suspect(s) gained unlawful entry into his residence and stole two televisions sets, damaged a third TV in the residence and broke a window.  Victim advised that during the above time period he was out of town and the residence was unattended.  No suspects or witnesses have developed at this time.

CASE# 0207009254 Motor Vehicle Crash (Fatality)

Location:  I-25, 101 feet south of Mile Marker 286

Vehicle #1:  White, 2000, Dodge, Pick-up

Driver #1:  Joe Armijo, 76, Las Vegas, NM

Vehicle #2:  Blue, 2007, Kenworth, Semi truck with trailer

Driver #2:  Hesmerejildo Flores, 58, El Paso, TX

On 11-23-2007 at 8:19 AM, Driver #1 was operating Vehicle #1 south at the location.  Driver #2 was operating Vehicle #2 north at the location.  For reason(s) unknown, Driver #1 lost control of Vehicle #1 and allowed it to enter the center median.  Vehicle #1 crossed the center median and entered the northbound lanes.  As a result the left front fender of Vehicle #2 struck the right front fender of Vehicle #1.  Driver #1 was transported by ambulance to St. Vincent Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at 8:57 AM.  Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in this crash.  The roadway was snow packed and icy at the time of the crash.
