Victim reported that some time between 11:00am and 3:00pm 0n 11/1/07, unknown person(s) BURGLARIZED HIS RESIDENCE AND STOLE  a collection of 3,000 Hot wheel cars, an OJ Simpson photograph, and misc lumber,medication valued at over $31,000.00.

Victim reported that sometime during the day an unknown person(s) stole 3 Pitbull puppies from a fenced kennel on her property.  Victim values the Pitbull puppies at $3,000.  No suspects or witnesses have developed at this time.

Victim:  60 year old male

 

 

Victim was located deceased on the property listed above.  Victim was the grounds keeper at the above residence.  No signs of foul play were located on the scene and it appears that the cause of death is that of natural causes.

On the above date the suspect was pulled over for a traffic stop. During the stop it was determined that he was under the influence of intoxicating liqour. The driver was placed undewr arrest and booked accordingly.

Charges: City of Belen Warrant for failure to pay fines

Suspect was stopped for speeding a warrant check revealed an outstanding warrant. Suspect was served with the warrant and booked into jail.

CASE# 0207008658 Aggravated DWI

Location:  Los Pinos Road, north of the West Frontage Road

Vehicle:  Green, 1998, VW, 4 door

Suspect:  Arturo Aranjo-Ortiz, 21, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Aggravated DWI, Careless Driving, Open Container

On 10-31-2007 at at 10:35 PM, the suspect was involved in a two vehicle collision at the location.  The suspect crossed left of the center divide line and struck another vehicle.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and had a Breath Alcohol Content of .08 or greater.  There was an open bottle of Corona beer in the suspect's vehicle.  The driver of the second vehicle transpotrted to St. Vincent Regional Medical Center for treatment of neck pain.

Vehicle:  Black, 1991, Geo, 2 door

Suspect:  Male Juvenile, 17, Glorieta, NM

Charged:  DWI, Taillamps Required, Display of Registration, Mandatory Proof of

               Financial Responsibility, Open Container

On 10-31-2007, the suspect was operating the vehicle west at the location with non-operational taillamps.  The suspect was unable to produce proof of insurance upon request and the registration was not on file.  There were also open containers of alcoholic beverages in the vehicle.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of intoxicating liquor and had a Breath Alcohol Content of .08 or greater.  There were also seven other juveniles in the vehicle, three of whom were under the influence of intoxicating liquor.  All of the juveniles were released to the custody of a responsible adult per the Juvenile Probation Office
