Case# 0208002301 Graet Bodily Harm by Motor Vehicle

Victim:  Joseph Lievens, 19, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect:  Chris Lievens, 20, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Great Bodily Harm by Motor Vehicle, Driving While License Suspended or

               Revoked, Careless Driving

On 3-19-2008, at 4:56 AM, the suspect was operating the vehicle south at the location.  The suspect lost control of the vehicle allowing it to leave the roadway on the right side.  The suspect then over corrected, causing the vehicle to re-enter the roadway and then leave the roadway on the left side.  The vehicle then went up an embankment, through a right of way fence and then rolled a minimum of two times down the other side of the embankment, coming to rest on the right should of southbound I-25.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and submitted to a Blood Alcohol Test.  The results of that test are pending.  The victim, who was the unrestrained right rear passenger in the vehicle and was ejected from the vehicle. sustained serious head and internal injuries.  Two juvenile passengers in the vehicle were treated for injuries at St. Vincent Regional Medical Center and released to their respective parents.

Case: 0208002297 / Receiving or Transferring a Stolen Motor Vehicle / Date: 3-18-2008

Location: Morning Drive Allsup's / Agua Fria Area

Arrested: Josue Duarte, 22 yoa, Santa Fe, NM

Charges: Receiving or Transferring a Stolen Motor Vehicle, Failure to Appear Bench Warrant out of Bernalillo County Magistrate Court citing DWI

Deputies were summoned to the Morning Drive Allsup's to investigate a report of a male individual arguing with the clerk. Deputies contacted a group of males and discovered that the above named defendant was in possession of a stolen motor vehicle and was wanted out of the Bernalillo County Magistrate Court for failure to appear on DWI charges. The defendant was arrested and booked accordingly.

Stolen / Forged: A rent check in the amount of $526.10

The victim reported that she had dropped off her rent check at the office of the rental community on 3/6/2008. The rent check was never received by the office and a check with the bank showed that the check had been forged in the name of male suspect. The case is under investigation.

The victim reported that the above listed item had been stolen from a job site. The stolen property was chained to the property and the chain had been cut and the item stolen.

Stolen: Computers, 48" LCD Flat Screen TV, Night Stand with 50 CDs, Bose Surround Sound System, Misc. Jewelry, Misc. Clothing, 2 Pillow Cases and Metal Art Sculpture

The victim reported that unknown suspects unlawfully entered his residence via an unlocked door. The above listed items were stolen and a white Chevrolet truck was seen in the area, occuppied by one male and one female. No specific information exists regarding these individuals or the vehicle.

0208002230/Breaking & Entering, Aggravated Battery, DWI/03-17-08

Location Of Incident: 4951 Agua Fria  Santa Fe, NM 87501

Suspect/Arrested: Joe Lucero DOB:12-13-59 (48)  141 Fiesta St. Santa Fe, NM 87505

 

 On 03-17-08 the above subject was found in a vacant residence by the owner.  The suspect fled the area in a vehicle which struck the property owner as it backing out of the property.  The vehicle and suspects were located traveling on Airport Road a short time later.  The suspect was found to be impaired and was arrested on the charges of Breaking and Entering, Aggravated Battery, possession of drug paraphernalia and DWI.

Case#: 0208002258/ DWI(Felony), Aggravated Fleeing, Selling or giving alcohol to minors/ Date: 03/18/08

Location of arrest:  Galisteo Court, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect:  Marcus Vigil, age 19, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  DWI(Felony), Aggravated fleeing, Selling or giving alcohol to minors, Reckless driving, Resisting or obstructing an officer

On 3/18/08 deputy observed vehicle driving on Rodeo Road and lose control while wturning onto Galisteo.  Suspect as also driving on the wrong side of the road.  Deputy attempted to stop vehicle which driver began to accelerate and flee from deputy.  Driver then lost control of vehicle and was involved in a motor vehicle crash.  Driver/suspect then fled from vehicle in which deputy chased after him and deployed his taser to apprehend suspect.  Deputy could smell an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from his breath and person. Suspect had slurred speech and bloodshot watery eyes.   Suspect was placed under arrest and read the NM Implied Consent Act in which he agreed to provide a blood sample.  Suspect had a female juvenile with him who stated that suspect gave her alcohol.  Suspect was then transported to St. Vincent Hospital to get checked and then to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center where he was booked accordingly.

Suspect:  Stephen Dunlap, age 56, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Battery against a household member

On 3/18/08 deputies were dispatched to a domestic disturbance at above location.  Suspect and victim are involved in same sex relationship.  Victim & suspect were involved in a verbal arguement due to suspect's ex-boyfriend coming in for the Easter weekend.  Suspect became angry, pushed and punched victim in the forehead and left side of the hip.  Suspect was then arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Suspect:  Brandon Allen, 26, Albuaquerque, NM

Charged:  DWI, Open Container

On 3-17-2008, at 8:59 PM, the supect was operating the vehicle south at the location when he entered a DWI Check Point.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and had a Breath Alcohol Content of .08 or greater.  The suspect was also found to be in possession of an open bottle of Bacardi Rum.

Suspect" 32 year old male

Charges: Pending

A contract worker was paid for work with several checks that were returned to the bank for insufficiant funds. The worker was then paid in cash. The worker then took the returned check and cashed them. He kept the money, which was estimated to be over $6000.00. The case is under investigation.
